The Selwyn Libraries Edge Connector vehicle brings a modern library experience including programmes and resources, to communities, schools, pre-schools and community groups who don’t have easy access to one of the district’s four libraries.
The Edge Connector is fitted with WiFi, computers and a touch screen online catalogue as well as a printer and scanner. It brings a selection of books, magazines and DVDs which can be browsed or borrowed. The ability to also carry resources such as a 3D printer and sewing machines allow us to run specific programmes in any community.
Jade and her team visit the village on the second Friday of every month.
