Unfortunately, due to the weather, Helen has had to cancel (she is stuck down south)

However, CTA would like to hold an information session for anyone interested. We have posters, brochures, chew cards, rat traps and morning tea

The Craigieburn Trapping Alliance is excited to welcome Helen Hamblin from the Kea Conservation Trust.

Helen will be bringing her Kea Roadshow to Castle Hill Village during Labour weekend 2024. Helen runs the Kids for Kea School Programme and will bring a similar programme to Castle Hill. Predominantly aimed at school aged children, Helen has agreed to adjust her presentation to suit all ages from preschool to adults – So there is something for everyone.

If you are interested in finding out more about this endangered parrot, endemic to the Southern Alps of New Zealand, then please let us know as numbers will be limited – 30 Children for the interactive parts of the class, plus adults watching from the back.
